Overview: The Company is a well-established delivered, ready to eat food service with a loyal client base throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It has a proven business model, a strong brand presence, and established client list. The Company offers an integrated service, starting with meal selection and ending with highly personalized home/office delivery. Their proven menu and meal preparation system not only satisfies customer demands but also produces consistent profitability. Last year over 100,000 meals were sold. Revenues for FY 2017 were $1.8 million and gross profit margins were 55%.
Owners: Over the past three years, the owners have reduced their active roles in the day-to-day operation of the Company and are now seeking to sell the Company. They are prepared to assist for a limited period of time in the transition to a new owner.
Fresh, High Quality, Hand Made Meals: The Company prepares and delivers wholesome food, which is prepared fresh every day by its experienced chefs. Only the best ingredients are used. Clients: The Company has a data base of over 21,000 clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, representing a broad base of individuals and businesses. A significant percentage of the Company’s business is from repeat clients. The Company also offers a variety of gift options. In FY 2017, the Company prepared and delivered meals to approximately 1,200 unique clients.
Staff: The Company has a dedicated team of 16, comprised of chefs and kitchen staff, drivers, and office personnel. The key employees have been with the Company for over 20 years.
Website and Systems: The Company updated and enhanced its attractive and engaging website in March 2018. Orders, gifts and preferences can be done through the website. The Company also has a highly customized and efficient database system to manage recipes, client information, routing, and reporting.
